Envirothon Competition
Photos are now posted of the 1st ever Envirothon Competition in Colorado. It was held at the Poudre Learning Center here in Greeley.
Students came from all over Colorado to compete for the chance to go to the National Competition held in Montana! Students had to answer various questions in the following areas: Wildlife, Aquatics, Forestry, and Soils.
Zivkovic Geophysical Investigations was proud to support the efforts by volunteering by being a 'Team Buddy'.

Personal update and upcoming Environmental Competition
Just a little personal update:
Most of you all know that I teach Introductory Geology part time at a local college here in Denver. Well some good news on that front! I have been invited to be in the graduation procession next week. Although I wont be handing out any diplomas this time I am very honored to be included AND I have been asked to teach their Environmental Science class in August (of course I said yes!)
Also my company will be volunteering our expertise for the 1st Annual Envirothon competition here in the Greeley area with the West Greeley Conservation District on May 5th. This is an exciting environmental science competition for high school students! Check out the site to see how you can become involved in your area http://www.envirothon.org/
